As I recall, last October, Iomega bucked the downward trend in the tech stocks when they reported better than expected earnings. I believe they will do it again because (1) this is typically their strongest quarter and (2) they have more than doubled their year-ago earnings many times in the past and this time is no exception.

BTW, What do you think of this scenario? We find out that Slick Willie has been lying, subornation of perjury investigation starts, then Greenspan gets disgusted and quits. What happens to the market then? I have had it suggested to me this morning by a trader who I highly respect that I might not want to hold long positions going into the weekend. What do you think?
