I talked to Barry and Dick a few minutes ago and they weren't aware of the price activity, nor could they tell me any reason for it. If someone knows something, they're not getting it from ARET. Of course, it's possible for information about this company to be known by insiders at other places.

They said they're getting a lot of calls (I could hear other lines ringing while I was on the phone) mostly asking about the financials, and they're answering that they should be published in the next week or two. Dick wondered if the buying were in anticipation of that, but I really don't think so. Anticipation buying happens 2-3 days before an event; not 1 or 2 weeks.

What's really puzzling me is that there are pauses in the activity and they're not being filled or followed with lots of selling. They should as a lot of folks are sitting on irresistible profits in a stock with a demonstrated tendency toward volatility.

My guess is that this one's going to close the day at .035 or .025.
