They never believed in balanced budgets or free trade so they've always been "a finger in the wind" kinda party. Dems fought for gay rights and lost many elections. Eventually, we won the issue. Same with health care. We lost elections but in the end we won. We also raised taxes and balanced the budget. Our votes saved the economy after it collapsed, etc. If the gop went away, the US would be the envy of the world again. As long as they exist the US will continue its decline. It took them decades to accept climate change but then one idiot told them it's a Chinese hoax. The gap between the two parties on just this one issue has never been higher. They're hopeless.
