Welcome to the thread from one of those most insignificant posters (according to Silvers) that you need not be too concerned about. One word of warning, don't ever set up a face to face with Mark. Not only did he leave me hanging (appropriate choice of words) at Scores, I was forced (as Henry most appropriately noted last week) to approach every raincoat in the joint looking for his Mr. Goodbar(another appropriate choice of words) and now, in the New York Times, I learn that I had entered a mob joint controlled by none other than John Gotti, Jr. My picture is most likely now prominently displayed in the local FBI office and my voice (since I also tried to page the good Silvers from Chicago) is most likely also catalogued for future reference. As long as he sticks to his Naxos pom-poms he is an OK guy, but after that . . . . well, consider yourself forewarned.

The tone and tenor and the level of discourse on this thread is the result of much hard work by many people and I am sure that they feel gratified by a post such as yours. Their time and effort is noticed and appreciated, the highest reward. Comments such as yours help provide the inspiration to continue to detail and analyze this fantastic voyage from a wide spectrum of views. Perhaps man has evolved a mass medium where tangible quality can be a rule not an exception and the process of "dumbing down" via the 30 sec. sound bite is reversed. Jason, Welcome aboard. Agree with you that this is a relatively polite and fun thread to be in. It is very easy to laugh, cheer, be friendly with each other etc when the stock we are all in is going up. But when the stock headed south, the atmosphere can turn sour very quickly. "Fortunately" for Naxos, we have all go through a real tough time when the stock is regarded as a "scam" by a lot of the mining establishments and it was halted trading everywhere. We also saw the stock plunged to $0.75 from about $7. If we can go through all that, we certainly can have fun now! :-)
