I doubt anyone based in Beijing called over the weekend, but claims and counter-claims are near impossible to refute / repudiate. The test is in the pudding or beef or the trade deal. Never mind who called when, tell us what’s next that one can base decisions on; tell us if gold going up or down. And by read of Trump and Xi, gold shall go up more. Am thinking, and of course only if turns out to be correct, that team USA as represented by Trump and his people, misplayed the weekend. The only way Trump can recover position is to double down or triple up. But as am no expert to read Trump, I must play as if I do not know Trump. I believe I do know Xi so am not flying totally blind
