The Constitution is to protect free speech from government intervention.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Most of the violence is coming from the right .... examples are Patrick Cruisius and Eric Lin. One committed a massacre of hispanic Americans in El Paso and the other planned to wipe out the hispanic population of Miami. Both inspired by the President's warnings of an hispanic invasion of America. Why would you support people who want to wipe out your own family?
