Chapman Over the weekend, six people were killed and 29 people were wounded by gunfire in Chicago, according to local media there. In addition, the Chicago Tribune reports that 1,800 people have been shot in Chicago since Jan. 1, 2019. On Sunday, 17-year-old Dontevon Gates was shot and killed in the city's South Side, reported the Chicago Sun-Times. "Gates was hit in the neck and back," said the Sun-Times. "He was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center. A man and two women were also wounded in the shooting." Original Article
