Amazing this dog finally beats something.. Diamond Multimedia System (DIMD) 12 5/8 -1/2: maker and marketer of multimedia & connectivity products records a 4Q profit of $0.20 a share, six cents ahead of the First Call estimate, vs year-ago net of $0.22 a share..... Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) 11 1/4 -1/2: designer and supplier of workstations, server and supercomputer systems posts a fiscal 2Q loss of $0.17 a share (snicker, lets see if it pops tomorrow, nothing like a good loss to get attention), including write-off charges of $52.6 mln, vs year-ago loss of $0.07 a share; the First Call estimate was for a profit of $0.07 a share.... Electronic Arts Inc. (ERTS) 37 3/8 -3/4: entertainment software company reports 3rd qtr net of $0.84 a share, up sharply from yr-ago net of $0.65. Wall Street was looking for $0.78... Amazing realities.. Gateway 2000 (GTW) 34 +1/4: PC maker reports 4th qtr net of $0.59 a share, compared to yr-ago earnings of $0.56. For the qtr, Wall Street was expecting $0.45 a share; revenues rose 27.7% to $1.98 bln.... target price of 70 with a loss?? Amazon.com (AMZN) 61 5/8 +3/4: Internet book retailer reports a 4th qtr loss of $0.39 a share, compared to a yr-ago loss of $0.10 a share. For the qtr, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.44 a share.... ASND did good so PMCS should do good too.. beat by 5 cents, seems ATM market very strong. Not sure why klic is so weak after a good q. Is IOM prob long term?
