I was expecting this Bob. The management called AGS's bluff. The company did a big buyback at over 8 a while back. This is a low ball hypothetical offer . Like Vintage-IMO trying to flush out a possible bidder. IMO the company could be selling at 8 as a stand alone. In a year and a half from now. This based on improving earnings and sales. European operations are an important part of the mix now. If the dollar ever comes down from here, it would be and added boost. I would like to point out, albeit small sales. Other than the CEO who just left. Some of the company directors sold stock around the AGS purchase price. That's not something that says your stock is undervalued. The short position in CTG is almost Nil. IMO todays action still might stir up hedge fund interests. As a defensive measure IMO I wouldn't rule out a management led buyout. This because I feel it would be more likely supported by employees owning CTG stock. Anyway I still think the For Sale Sign is out, but there are many contingences.
