Pre market was up, then the Google/Apple story got some major headlines, and then the market went down. Take a look at Apple's stock today. The story didn't get a lot coverage until around the time the market opened, though the story broke much earlier. Apple is coming back up as I'm writing this.

As it happens with most of these cases, the news comes out ownce the problems are fixed, and that is by design.

The only possible danger is if others had found this vulnerability as well and already exploited it for some gain.

The best hack is the one that is never revealed...
