Me too, my friend. Me too. That's why back in summer 2017, I went to 100% bonds, mostly short dated, and now I'm going to shorten my whole portfolio even further before the next rate cut. I'd rather take that old advice of discretion being the better part of valor. Better to lose out on the possibility of higher returns and eliminate the possibility of massive declines here in the short term. The risks are just too elevated right now.

There are more people killed each year in car accidents than by gunshot wounds, so why aren't the Dimwits pushing to ban cars???

This exposes the entire dishonesty of their anti gun argument...

The real issue is not guns, it's the decay of the family unit which results in the loss of morality, kids have no authority figure in the home today, which typically would be the father, so kids get their authority and morality from gangs in the streets...

The decay of the family unit and the loss of morality in the home is the real underlying problem we face, this decay only breeds street violence and it expresses itself with gun violence...

Remove guns and it would then be expressed with knife violence as we now witness in London, remove knives and it would then be expressed with sticks and stone violence, and so on...

Guns kill people in the same way that pencils misspell words...

If everyone were illiterate then everyone would misspell words, then we would blame it on the pencils and ban pencils while missing the underlying cause... this is what the Dimwits are doing with guns, blaming it on guns and not the underlying causes...

With a stable home environment with an authority figure in the home we would not have this kind of violence and mass shootings...

This may seem hard to believe but more than 70% of kids today are raised by someone other than their natural parents... is there any wonder that the family unit and its accompanying central foundation of morality is missing...

The loss of morality and the loss of respect for authority will always encourage violence...

Blaming guns for the decay of the family unit and loss of respect for authority is not only faulty logic, it's also completely and tragically missing the point...
