Yes, that is true, John. However, as you know consumer sentiment and spending is a LAGGING indicator, meaning it only turns down after the recession has already begun.

I imagine this is the end game. Perhaps you thinking this will happen somewhat earlier than I am? Germany and Denmark stock markets hanging in there with negative rates..

Is interesting Bianco had a another recent graph that showed US short term rates were among the highest of all developed countries right before all recessions going back to early 70's except 1990.. Same situation today..
