I totally agree! but it still must be proven to me. if we start to go over the last short-term highs on certain charts (WITH GOOD VOLUME), I will become a bull again. for now, I wait, with a few sure bets here and there (few and far between right now - mostly shorts). I might lose out on a few points, but you can bet that I will be ready for the second advance. I am basically a short-term trader (few hours to a few days to a few weeks), so not bottom-buying (if indeed we go up from here) won't really hurt me (sorry about the double negs).

please keep up the great analysis!

WEEKLY SCALE:

<<This is where looking at the weekly graphs and indicators can help. >>

YES YES!!

I've only recently begun looking at weekly charts and BOY do i regret for not looking at it earlier..

SOOO easy.. hit the weekly scale and you got that weekly view.. USE IT!

why? well, in TA --- we are MOMENUTM traders..

we want to see momentum and we jump in for the ride.. Well. wouldn't you rather have a BIG MOMENtUM rather than the small rallies??

That (i believe) is the difference between a APCO and PTIS. apco has no weekly buy while PTIS does..

when you have big momentum riding with you (weekly chart bulllish), you are at a LOWER RISK and will be REWARDED BIGGER AND at a higher % rate...

the key to using weekly?? PATIENCE.... sometimes you wont have any good picks..

That's why you develop a HUGE database of 1000 stocks and scan scan scan..

of course, you need to develop a good scanning critier..
