Jeff-- I went back to the Crowne Plaza web site and looked for references to a connection to Holiday Inn. The only references to HI are in connection to the use of "frequent flyer miles" (or I guess frequent sleeper nights?) earned at Crowne Plazas in HI locations. Figuring you must be referring to something deeper than that, I dug a little more on the net. I found a news release that included this info: "NOTE: Holiday Inn Worldwide, the hotel business of Bass PLC of the United Kingdom, operates or franchises more than 2,200 hotels and 380,000 guest rooms in more than 60 countries and territories. Holiday Inn is the world's largest single hotel brand; in September 1994, the company established Crowne Plaza as a separate brand in its Americas division." hospitalitynet.nl This blew me away. I don't recall anyone ever mentioning on SI that Crowne Plaza is owned by the same company that owns Holiday Inn! Now I don't expect this means ozone laundry systems could be installed in all 2,200 locations (although that would be nice), especially since you'll notice on CP's web site, and on HI's web site, that most locations are independently owned and operated. Holidy Inn's family of hotels can be found at:http://www.holiday-inn.com/hotels.html (Curiously, it doesn't include Crowne Plaza.) This certainly widens the field of possibility for more laundry contracts in the future! regards, Mike
