Bob-

My estimates for THQI have more than accounted for diluted earnings (the amount of shares outstanding if options were all exercised). I've been very liberal with my assumptions of continued share dilution, so my EPS estimates have a conservative slant to them, relative to my earnings estimates. I'm looking for $0.68 for Q4. I believe 2/4 may be the reporting date. Remember last year when THQ was installing new computer systems and software? That was expected to shorten the time required for accounting procedures after quarters' end. Of course, Deloitte & Touche still need to audit.

I believe that this EA deal is mostly a smart business move by EA, but it's certainly possible that EA wants to see how THQ gets the job done for the N64. It would make a lot of sense for EA to buy THQ at some point, although I think Cendant Software would be a more likely buyer.
