Q4 operating EPS .55 vs .25, well below consensus..Revenues down 2.9% sequentially from Q3, as DRAM prices fell 40%..Prices have since ticked up, but too early to view it as trend..Digital signal processing revenues continued strong, but orders slipped at qtr. end..With turmoil in Asia, customers TXN's major end-markets have more cautious outlook.Expect further revenue & EPS decline in Q1, but look for marked improvement thereafter. Maintaining $2.55 EPS estimate for'98.Shares attractive at 18 times estimate.
