‘Not One Person Said No’: Odessa Chick-fil-A Employees Refused to Leave Work Early, Instead Blessed Texas Police With 500 Free Sandwiches After Mass Murder

Chick-fil-A has once again gone above and beyond the call of duty after preparing some 500 chicken sandwiches for weary police officers who had been responding to the mass shooting in Odessa, Texas.

When the management at Chick-fil-A Odessa, University Blvd, received news that a gunman had been on a rampage through the streets of their city, they allowed employees the choice to close early and go and be with their loved ones.

Instead, employees teamed up with another Chick-fil-A branch and prepared 500 sandwiches for the brave men and women in blue.

“Absolutely blown away by this amazing team of people,” the Odessa restaurant posted on Facebook. “After heartbreaking events in our community today we planned to close early and send our team home to be with their families. As they were walking out of the restaurant an opportunity to feed local law enforcement presented its self and they were given the option to help…not one person said no. Partnering with Chick-fil-A Odessa Town Center they cooked 500 sandwiches and packaged them with the most joyful hearts and a lot of love.”
