Steve, have you read what you just wrote? You bring to mind a standard caution though - If you don't understand them, don't play them. Any never play them with more $ than you can afford to lose (100% loss that is).

Steve, you are very right that stocks often settle at the value that minimizes option values on option day. I often use this to make a couple of points on option day.
