Do fine without the grid for how long? Are you thinking of Dorian or like an EMP? I could buy a battery, build a generator for the creek, and be OK long term. OTH, my phone could die precisely when I ran out of water, and B4 I could call up one of my kids to bring over a generator, in which case everything in my fridge would spoil.

That won't be nearly as much fun as it would have been 30 years ago. Would I be fine? It's more like I would muddle thru.

Really busy in 3D world presently..

but just for fun.. This is the circular saw.. great tool...

This Dewalt blade cuts through metal like butter.. I do have a grinder yet (battery powered that is) so this does double duty... a little less maneuverable than a grinder...

On the Dad tools front.. in case there is zero power... I carry this with me on my person always.. Have a multi stubby and longer in vehicle always also.. but this was dad's.. two slotted and a Phillips.. no Robertson ?.. MUST be American LOL... Used to have ratchet action but the flipper broke years ago... luckily in the NO ratchet position ...

Open..

Closed..

Not much makes me smile... But it makes me smile each time I use it... :))
