Re: Planet Hollywood, AOL, and IOM

Does this mean that Bruce Willis and Arnold are gonna be jumping out of a window real soon?

AOL's 1 1/2 dive today is just DOW reaction. If it were a real reversal, it would plunge much, much more. No sir (ma'am), it's going to keep marching up past $100 soon.

Whether Iomaniacs want to believe it or not, my opinions here mirror concerns The Street has concerning Iomega's future. Sony HiFi is a definite threat, although as vague in its release date as the Vapor! drive. SyQuest has a barn-burner of a product (Quest) on-deck to quash Jaz2 (both should hit the street at the same time), and Zip sales are slackening. Hence the desperate and expensive Superbowl ads. Remember, all good news is already factored into the current share price. All it would take is one little thing from the mouth of KE later today to worry the mostly individual investors enough to cause them to bail tomorrow and all next week.( is this a run-on sentence -- any English majors out there?)

If IOM had a super star touting its drives or was on the board or had any type of public relations dept at all, IOM would also get noticed. As some have pointed out previosly, this company does not market itself as well as it does its products, which explains all the non-believers in the company.

Do you remember what the trading range was on the day the last earnings report came out? This action today is not encouraging for those hoping the numbers are going to be better than estimates. Usually there are insiders who let others know what to expect for the report and unless this company has good control of its employees and the financial staff, I am getting very nervous.
