There will be a war between humanitarian enlightenment and people who are ignorant and violent.

But when in history has that not been true? But today the humanitarian people have a much larger army to fight those who would only destroy.

As Steven Pinker pointed out in his book:" The Nature of our better Angles": this is the most peaceful time in all of history. That has a root cause.

This is not the 20's and 30's because we are much more educated today and much more humanitarian and we understand things in a much more sophisticated and abstract manner than ever before in history.

The kids and women are sharp. The Katie Porters and new women in congress are the future IMO. And they will lead a fight against the forces of evil that have always plagued the human species.

I expect an even larger Blue Wave in 2020.

Myself, I'm just hoping it doesn't all collapse until I'm dead, which shouldn't be too long now. I see it as even worse than you. Most people in America live in cities now, cities totally dependent on supplied supermarkets and restaurants for food, which in turn depend on an intricate web of supply chains. If all that breaks down, we'll see a Mad Max / Walking Dead level dystopia. More akin to the fall of the Roman Empire and the Dark Ages that followed than America of the 1930's.
