Did you see the press release on MDCE??? Answer: Jim, All I know is the SEC will nail them if what the filing or the news release states in them are inaccurate. The 1996 everyone knew was being prepare and filed plus the company will be happy to fax you a copy of the 10K. As of 1996 it appears that what the company and the accounting firm is saying we as investors either take or dispute. If you dispute it or question it then why buy the stock. When I started the thread on SI I called the TA and the figures I posted were confirmed by Sharon. 35M divide by the outstanding is how I came up with a $3 to $4 book as of Oct. 1997 not 1996. Would you say this could follow in the footsteps of OVIS?? Answer: Not even close. OVIS did not have an office and besides we have investors that have in fact visited them in both New York and Palm Springs. There appeared from their reports to be a actual company. OVIS never even had a listed phone number we could find. Comparing MDCE to OVIS is absurd but you got in a good little naysay there Jim. ALso OVIS had a cartel binding investors together. Personally I like the stock but I as some others have to believe the company until the SEC filings are brought into view. It has received a black eye for the time lag and the 10K taking 30 days or more longer than the company reported. There are those that want to slam the vaule also. Me I could careless about 1996 and never could see the why anyone would get excited over a 1996 10k when it was the end of 1997. As far as the comparison to OVIS I do not belive this stock is anything like OVIS. It is liked by some and an negative obession by others. However regardless, the selling comes in every morning just like clock work and by the end of the day it closes up. Since this stock is not loved and has a lot of controversy around it I am surprised the internet would buy it at all until the 1997 10K comes out which should be out in February. It has already triple an settled back down. These penies are risky to start with an I do not think MDCE would be putting out false information just so they could go to jail or be fined out the kazoo. People seem to forget this is a penny stock and reporting or delisting is one of the best moves the induatry could have done. Though it does not protect the investor until after the fact it is still a great decision. Also this stock was very quiet and not being cheered on all the threads. Yet it tripled. Now that it has fallen back it has a lot of negative speculation. However the stock is holding up quite nicely. Time will tell. GB
