Good questions Ernie. Maybe the $17 million charge is a lot less than what they would have lost if they had kept it. In this sense, they are getting "paid" for whatever assets have been transferred. Just a guess though. Gee- maybe they could sell that Denmark biz too - that would help.

Ernie, the charge doesn't mean they aren't getting paid for selling the division, it simply means that they are receiving $17mm less than what they were carrying the division for on the books. The analysts covering the stock were hoping this would happen, as the division was losing money each qtr. What I don't know is if they are disappointed that DSC will still retain a 20% interest. I guess we'll hear some comments tomorrow.
