Now I could be wrong but as I understand the delistings
is that they are targeted at those companies who do not
file timely financials or meet other "filing" standards.
I read up on this awhile back and from what I understood
the price was not a big point but that the SEC was looking
to rid itself of those companies that did not fill out the
required documentation around shares held/sold/diluted along
with quarterlies...again not the gospel...if u want that u
should look it up...or ask again and hope someone more
knowledgeable than myself answers...take care...

Roger and Ron,
As best I understand it, NASDAQ has two levels of Electronic Boards. The smaller cap and their lareger cap board. None of the membership on these electronic boards are under fire. It is on the pink sheets, that are not really NASDAQ but somehow NASDAQ got stuck with their sponsorship, that the housecleaning will take place. The pinks have been notorious as a gathering place for con artists and shell companies, along with the legit micro cap strugglers who have no other place to go. Its the former that the National Board is trying to weed out.

My comments on the $5 threshold had to do with the majority of institutional investment outfits, who set that as an arbitrary cutoff.

Ron, I understand from your reply that One goes from the smaller to the large board at NASDAQ by meeting the $3 for 30 day criteria. Thanks, Bill.
