Petz, Thanks. I had read that Intel could "fix" bugs with an flash updateable area, and I then extended this to the ability to make a partly tabula rasa CPU, add the instructions set later for the KNI, but leave the known routines hard wired in.

I expect Intel will wait as long as possible to deny the window to AMD. Do they also not deny chip set vendors and others room as well.
