Scoot, My crystal ball did not work so great on that one. But
if you look at my post,

exchange2000.com

I did say that a "bad hair day" in Asia would undermine the
crystal ball viewing. If you recall the past 2 days have
been bad hair days in Asia to say the least. I also
gave percentages which is the only way to gauge confidence
level in a prediction like that.

I think this
FASB rule 128 diluted vs basic deal has everyone confused
about earnings. This could not happen at a worse time as
everyone is trying to size the impact of Asia going forward.
This is creating excessive uncertainty and confusion. Look
to see the talking heads trying to clarify this dynamic in
the media over the next week or two as earning season tapers off.

More crystal ball - as for $40 a share this level will be crossed
by mid to late Feb.

Cheers.

BTW: My positions is XLNX are the worst performing in my portfolio.
The crystal ball has worked better elsewhere. But that will not
keep me from trying. XLNX has a fundemental edge right now and
it WILL be refelected in the stock price. Knowing WHEN is the
crystal ball stuff.

Scott; I guess my crystal ball is not so bad after all:

XLNX crossed 40 even a little sooner than I predicted.
