No on both counts.

There's no excuse whatsoever for a sane person to ever vote for a republican again. Massive deficits when the economy was growing under Reagan, Bush and Trump.

Why would you be surprised? Before Obama left deficits were projected to exceed a trillion in the next two years and be over a trillion until the country's economy collapses from its debt. So it is 18-24 months ahead of schedule and you’re shocked?

Furthermore, there is every likelihood we will realize reductions over the projections Obama left behind over the next few years due to Trump economic policy which has put people who never worked before, to work.

I don’t really see anything to complain about in a single year perspective.
