Sdgla,
GWB tried multiple times to fix the problem & Harry Reid, Barney Frank & the rest of the Dems running congress refused to work with him.
The Democrat Congress had a vested interest in tanking the economy and ensuring that the GOP would lose in 2008.

Remember that when the Democrats desperately try and talk down the economy going into the 2020 election.

The debt under Trump is $2.6 trillion while GDP grew by 2.1 trillion as of April so put in a few more months of growth and the two are about even. Put another way, economic growth is coming from government debt.

You're comparing the debt created by failed republican policies with the recovery Obama and the Democrats gave us.

You then blame Clinton for a recession that took place seven years after he left office. Geez, do we get to blame Trump for a recession that happens in 2027?
