SCOTUS can't rewrite the Constitution. Since the militia is in the Constitution and in an Amendment, SCOTUS had to ignore both to come up with a ruling that have no connection to the actual words in the Constitution.

You agree with the ruling but what happens when a liberal court rewrites the Constitution? Will you support it? You'll have to support it because you support it now.
