Druid; IF it's Amazing to you , then you better not trade her.
I use to day trade this stock, and I know she can do what
looks Amazing..but it's not amazing at all if you get into her,
in some cases it's manipulation, more often it's Bokers
who see how many shorts are out and what the stop loss average
is, and know what point they can do a buy and how much it will
take to trigger the stop losses, at which point they sell what
they bought at a higher price to the shorts, via the stop losses,
Then they take the over run and sell it short to the rest of
the shorts being bought in.
The Brokers are
on top of the shorts but hold the best short positions..2/3rd
of AOLs volume is not stock changing hands..it's one short
shorting to another who is having to cover. This has been going
on I know for over a year. Took me a while to catch onto it
and AOL is not the only stock that has a lot of "ghost volume"
( The swapping of borrowed shares not real ones )..thats why I tell
people shorting her is a suckers play, but they don't want
to belive it. You know the Crammer that runs thesteet.com,
he has lost tons of money shorting this stock, even admitted
it last year..now he claims to be long..<bull> but I think
he learned not to mess with one that's rigged. It took
a while but last year I did get were I could read her signs
and day trade her, but with the spread and commisions it was
not enough profit for the time and effort it took.
The amazing part is the artistic ablilty of the PR to run
the scam for such a long period, and the ignorance of the
sheep who actully belive she is going to be some future gold
mine. She is at this time but only for the insiders , and
brokers, sooner or later most of the mullets that do buy her
at these prices will get caught holding an empty bag. There is
no way AOL won't fall, but when is another story, and if I see it coming I'm not subject to tip any one off any more than I already have, I'l be to busy getting in my licks.
Of course I may be looking elsewere and miss the
tip off sign, as I've gotten into some other plays.
I just visted back on this thread to see how many newbies it had
brougt in.
Amazing ! LOL, I think your trying to pull my leg <G>
Now what would really be Amazing is if the insiders or
CNBC were to ever tell the truth.

Druid; I forgot..did you notice the volume when she ticked up ?
and at what average price did the majority of shares trade at
today ? ( notice I said trade , not sell or buy ) and what
was the average spread today on the bid/ask ?
Jim
