Hi UE

OK, I was a high pressure welder. I work on X-ray all my life. One year for the construction of Syncrude at Fort McMurray, and back in Quebec, 5 years on pipeline.

One thing about the oil from north Alberta, it is harder to refine (I presume more expensive to); that must contribute to a lower price. I presume that after the construction of the pipeline to the port in BC, the price should be higher at the terminal. To my knowledge, pipeline is the safest way to transport petrol and gas.

But they transport oil by train in Quebec and the rest of Canada; the problem is the rails... a big problem, they are very old (100 years ?); and some has never been change! I will never forget that 47 people has burnt alive 5 years ago because a train derail at Lac Megantic!... And they say it is safer by train !!! boul___it

To allow pipeline in Quebec (and all provinces) is a political matter, there are gas pipeline across Canada!!!
"I wish we would do more refining in Canada and then shipping a value added product" agree
Remember: BC and Ontario didn't want the pipeline! how come the journalists put all on Quebec fault!... so Trudeau has the power to force the provinces to accept it and he did that in BC and the Autochtones has accepted it; and after they wanted to buy it from the government !!! Do not trust the journalists, they are not all good.

It is all political,

Claude M
