Even after giving up so much, it's still cheaper to just sell to US that transport to ports?
we don't make any more money than that the WESTERN CANADA SELECT price. If the oil goes down to Louisiana and is sold to another country.... Canada does not get more money...we still would have paid that stupid tariff as well as that discounted price. The USA simply makes the profit on our oil.

The only way we can get near a world price is to have that twinned pipeline to the Pacific and expand our markets.

But that is not in the best interest in the USA...we have the feeling (at least I do) that the USA considers Canadian oil to be their oil and it is land-locked so that Canadians have no say in what happens to it.

Sorry but it is an irritant that most of the USA has no idea of... There are other trade irritants between Canada and the USA.... But I want to get off this soapbox right now.
