Bob, Gore isn't exactly squeeky clean either, especially when it comes to fund raising. If Clinton where to go, the Dems. take a big hit regardless. Gotta say it must be paining the press folks no end that their hero has apparently stepped in it up to his waist. Its the arrogance that I can't believe.

off Topic...

Gore would be worse in my opinion. I humbly opine that he might prove more indecisive than Clinton (if that can be..).

Look for the rise of Fred Thompson as the leading candidate and likely President in 2000.

Regards,

Ron

I think the voters have learned their lessons and will continue with a divided government. I'm betting that Gore will be president, arrogance and all, with a Republican Congress. The main risk to that idea actually happening will be the ennui factor associated with Gore. With the Foster death and the bimbo eruptions, the public has the sex and violence to which they have become accustomed in the news as well as their entertainment.

Gore is the environmentalist, and GRNO had been in contact with his office in better times. With a Republican Congress and if Newt and Lott remain in charge, stalemate will continue with continued progress for the USA. Maybe by that time, Gore will be able to light a fire under the SEC as well as provide some sort of positive light on GRNO. We can always dream.

Off topic: Just wait til the stories about Gore and the sheep hit the papers. :^)) Wonder how the founding fathers would respond to these allegations, or to a president named Newt.
