Our system has so many vulnerabilities, there's no way to plug them all unless we want to have a totalitarian hell. The only good answer is for society to cultivate individual responsibility, rather than cradle-to-grave reliance on Big Brother. You are correct. Lets' start with what we know Radical Muslims are commiting probably 90% of terrorist attacks - vet all Muslims more diligently, (social media) before allowing entry. Profile like the Israelis do - stop with the searches of grandmothers in wheelchairs and 6 year old children. Any Muslims that commit or attempt to commit terrorist acts - jail them and deport ANY family members.
