i think i'm beginning to actually understand this but still plenty to learn. your answer is one that i expected to read. so let me ask you, i know there is no guarantee that the stochastics will get to 80 but in the event it doesn't, what would be the next stochastic level to short at, in your opinion? 60? (i'm guessing)

i do now understand why you say patience in key in this type of trading and also what you mean by resisting the temptation to buy now.
one can easily think since the stochastics level is <20, an upward price movement is bound to happen not giving much thought to the trend which in this case is down.

i plan to keep PMSI on my radar. i will monitor this daily and watch for the stochastics to rise, hopefully, to 80, and if the trend is still down, i will short. am i on the right thinking? this will be my first short using this TA technique. i hope it's a good expierence. thanks again

I'm reading an uptrend in CKFR Stochastics...and MACD pointing up.

Have I go It? If I didn't I was in at $21 anyway? Trying to pull a hole shot.
