I think tying TDFX to DIMD and/or CRUS is rather tenuous to say the least. DIMD makes lots of stuff, including a board with another of my holdings, C-CUBE's MPEG-2 decoder. They also sell competitor's chip products as well. We already know TDFX is doing great, but let's not get carried away. I certainly would be happy with .08 but I think the .15 someone said here is overly optimistic.

In you estimation you assumed a revenue growth of 80%. I think it is far too low. Q3 was from july to end of september. This was during a time when 3dfx was just in the period of getting into the sight of people. The real 3dfx hysteria came up later I would say in November, where masses of people became interested in Hardware acceleration. The number of unit shipments should be much larger in this quarter than in the prior quarter - at least a factor of 2 or 3. But we will see it next week.
