I think we have to try to help as many as we can. This is a solution for some people.

But homeless encampments in Oakland and Berkeley end up looking like this, within days of the tents going up. Even when dumpsters and toilets are provided by the cities.



The tiny homes will need to be protected and have health-related rules; we will still have broader mental health and even policing and deeper criminal justice issues to solve.

I would agree its a start, like all public housing began with good intentions.

The sustainability aspect is 100% awesome. I'm curious, how many people here would minimize and live in a sustainable tiny house?
