"I will be frank. I am here in this forum to get information, test sources, and gauge
rumors. I am not here to make friends, or be friendly. I am here to get information to
make money. As long as I live by this rule, I do pretty well. But if I buy a stock just
because some lunatic who claims to be a monk with a harem starts a thread about it, and
then freak out when he and his posse ride off into the sunset *RIGHT AT THE
MOMENT* the deal take's a turn, then I AM crazy... Well maybe I am anyway. :)"

respectfully,
cAPSLOCK

Probably the best thing I've read so far on this thread...

Hi cAPS,

Glad to have your number. I will call it sometime, and I look forward to that conversation.

I completely agree with the following

"if I can't know for *fairly sure* that someones motives are not close to impartial I will then take what they say with a grain of salt until the time comes that that image, in my mind, can be repaired"

I'll bet you are like me in that it holds true whether on or off the Internet.

I also agree with this

"I am here to get information to make money. As long as I live by this rule, I do pretty well."

It's very easy for me to let the intensity of this experience ruin my objectivity and the quality of my decisions. I had learned not to listen to brokers, but I began listening too naively to people on the net. That's why I pulled back and rarely posted for about six months this year.

All that said, it was SOROS who begged and badgered Monk into taking a look at IMMM. When SOROS was finally successful, Monk apparently was totally sold and jumped in and created the IMMM thread. I was pretty disgusted at the time, and I posted several comments about the "unrestrained hero-worship" going on. I didn't buy until several months later, and I haven't regretted my purchases yet.

No comment as to Monk's disappearance(s). (There have been several!)

Best regards,

M.M.
