JHR -- re rig inspections. Every rig has a certain cycle of inspections that it must undergo. These vary from major to minor and cover the numerous components. There is like a five year survey that may look at the structure and such, a 3 year load line survey and so on. This is also done for ships.

In order to maintain the proper classification under the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), or other classing agencies, all rigs must be kept up tp date.

It takes time out of work for rigs to undergo these surveys (inspections) then they must remedy any thing found to be deficient. This may mean shipyard/drydock time.

So it sounds like DO has a bunch of surveys coming due this year. No big deal, but may mean a little down time and may mean some work for FGII !!
