Hey Rock, I go away for three weeks and you get your own thread? I came back a few days ago from the Middle East and decided to wait until after earnings to post to the Iomega thread. But Iomega dropped the ball on everyone--- I had figured they had another good quarter in them--- and I don't think anyone there wants to hear anything I have to say.

No matter. I made a ton o' money today. We both tried to warn them and got trashed for it.

My Next Short: DELL!!
And of course, Zitel hasn't gone bankrupt yet so that's a short.

The Sony Factor

I do agree with you, the Sony will have twice the capacity and will be faster than the Zip.

The Zip may have the dubious distinction of becoming the eight-track cassette. I still think there will be a bounce in Iomega's share tomorrow.
