Trump would have acted appropriately to request local help for an investigation of Biden's dirty dealing.

Nonsense. He wasn't requesting help in an ongoing investigation by the DOJ or some other entity. That is just spin. He was leaning on Ukraine to open an investigation on his behalf. Which is a totally different animal.

And about as far from "appropriate" as you can get.
