Under ordinary circumstances, I would agree with you, but outside of Biden, the other contending Dems have some far out twilight zone proposals out there, such as climate change, which supposedly costs about 80 Trillion.

If anyone can get reelected in a recessionary environment, it's Donald Trump.

The mudslinging come campaign 2020 is going to reach unimaginable proportions.

If Warren wins the Dem nomination, Trump is going to portray her as a socialist, which is unAmerican. How Warren responds to that will be key. If she can't sell single payer universal healthcare without a massive tax on most Americans, she may lose. Her best bet is to show how eliminating private insurance can pay for a big chunk of the program while taxing Wall Street and the top 1%. If she gets Gates and Buffet's support, along with other high profile Americans, she may succeed. A big disadvantage is that she seems to support the tariffs so how can she benefit from a Trump recession caused by tariffs?
