It's always fascinated me that whether we look macro with powerful telescopes or micro with powerful microscopes, whether optical or electronic, what we see is either some accumulation of planets circling suns or electrons circling nuclei.

It's almost as if those galactic and particular entities are presented to us as a polite way of informing us that we are not allowed to look behind the screen their images are projected upon.

Meanwhile, the ever-expanding studies of those entities provide us with no end of academic amusement.
