Mark, on your point regarding the alluvial ores, it would present a whole new "fast track" angle to prove up a very significant part of the reserve if surface deposits existed that could be proven up quickly and easily with virtually no drilling and straight forward testing.

It would not eliminate all other activites, it would simply jump start Naxos with a much faster (weeks instead of months) completely industry standard testing phase that would require nothing more than a backhoe, some COC bagging and lots and lots of certified standard fire assay.

I am EXTREMELY curious about the nature of an "alluvial" deposit. How far down and the concentrations possible at this site, if Naxos has tested for these and if that could get some very high profile coverage?

If, for example, Naxos proved up free gold on the surface that was tested and recovered with completely standard methods, Naxos would be much more free to move ahead with the rest of the deposit having already gained considerable attention and credibility with this now INDUSTRY ACCEPTABLE deposit.

In other words, if they could prove up a couple hundred million ounces with standard methods, they would certainly have no problem getting big names involved and they would be very agreeable to letting Naxos spend whatever they wanted to find the real "mother load".

Before anyone gets all fired up, Mark and I are discussing an interesting possibility NOT anything hidden in a news release, or quoted by a Naxos representative. This is JUST SPECULATION.

But it is still very interesting indeed.
