This is an old thread with several people here who've gotten old on it. My guess is that the people who've been here this long and have invested along the way and have made additional investing contributions from the income from their jobs/businesses/401 plans, well those people have done at least ok. (Especially if they haven't listened too much to me ...lol)

I believe I notice that a couple of us have been slowing down. More income and/or safety oriented. I am slowly moving into that group. But I still like a few shoot-for-the-moon stocks as well as my idea of value/revert-to-mean stocks.

If my wife ever comes across some of Buffet's sayings though, I'm going to be in big trouble:

“Rational people don’t risk what they have and need for what they don’t have and don’t need.”
