I wish all luck on this post but see the Indonesian crisis a little differently.......Suharto, like most dictators is raping his country....The overexpansion in Indonesia has left the country in ruins.....70% of comapnies on the Jakarta Exchange are technically bankrupt......Suharto will not allow others to share the wealth.....the military is loomimg in the background and is only remaining passive because Suharto has popular support..... As for TLK I think you have to realize that the dividend and PE have not been properly readjusted to account for the Rhuppia plunge (down 86%) or the lost revenue which will be caused by the numerous business failures!...... next years earnings in US dollars may be only about 30 or 40 cents. Using a PE of 12 (given the instability) would make this stock worth only $4.00 or $5.00 at best. You're hoping for the country to stabilize overnight when it appears to only be worsening... Good luck!
