<<Gateway blew away the estimates big time. Now doesn't JBIL make stuff for them?>>
You're right! They just added GTW last Q and now they post blow out earnings. Check "new business" in the Q1 98 report:
jabil.com

Maybe we can use Jabil as a "bird dog" to find co's that are going to do well in spite of Asia. My logic is if they're adding new capacity by contracting with Jabil, then they must be selling more product and therefore at least revenue should increase. Jabil's high efficiency production facilities might also be able to increase margins resulting in higher earnings for the customer.
If my logic holds water, maybe someone should call Jabil IR and get a list of current customers and new customers added during the current Q.

Any comments on my "bird dog" theory? Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Regards,
Lee
