Mephisto, I don't have many violent tendencies, but when I see that silly smirk that he perpetually wears, I could really lose it and slap him..

My I said the "it" word again and had to edit.

Oh dear, time for meditation, it works most of the time. <g>

):-)

You know I've got a feeling that H was not aware of this affair.

I very much doubt that. Or rather, I doubt whether she concerns herself much with specific affairs. After all, she's been dealing with this for twenty years, and has chosen to go on with it.

Mephisto, Hillary decided a long time ago to hitch her future to Bill, and she has ridden him all the way to the top. It is hard for me to imagine being happy in that relationship, but Hillary wanted recognition and power and the chance to change things in this country, and she gave up domestic bliss to pursue them.

It is very difficult looking into any relationship from the outside, to see a very real picture of what it is like. But Hillary is a very big girl, and has made her choices with just about the maximum number of brain cells available to any one person. I personally think both of them are deeply flawed, and their main attraction to each other is that they can both sit up half the night and discuss governmental policy joyfully. I would rather have a guy who wants only me, and get my other needs met in other ways, but everyone has to make their own decisions about that.

The irony about leaving office, even in shame and disgrace, is that then, with Chelsea gone, they have only each other really, or they will be totally starting over if they divorce.
