The point is that we can't force her or her parents to change their minds. She has to come to that conclusion on her own. ....no, that is not the point at all. You said "Maybe in 12 years, maybe in 24 years, but either way, she'll figure out that her fears were vastly overblown by people who took advantage of her."....the operative words are "she will"..........if you don't mean what you say, then don't say it...........not you or anyone else can say if she will figure it out..............for SOME, their brain has not only been washed, it has been dry cleaned.............they NEVER figure it out and graduate to the "useful idiot" stage. It's got nothing to do with forced conclusions.......they make their own.
