probably should have bought today.Just like I should have jumped those puts yesterday right before close!I think it will bounce tomorrow or monday give the clarification on earnings.I think 10 bucks for one cent is a tad overdone!

If HAL comes in above(did it?) then we should be ok.

With today's close of bid/ask of .68/.75 the FEB 80 calls do seem cheap...but we only have 3 weeks before they expire. The low premium tells me that folks out there don't think they are worth it.

Actually I think it's just Black-Scholes option pricing which just takes into account a few raw facts. SLB has to rise about 10% in 21 trading days to get to breakeven, how many blue chips do that on average. Now there may very well be technical and fundimental reasons for SLB to hit that price, but I think the big boys just plug the numbers into their calculators and trade.
